Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian. Providing veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets, this full-service hospital has been serving Philadelphia and the surrounding communities for more than 30 years. The practice offers a diverse caseload within a well-established clinical environment, with an emphasis on personalized medicine, collaboration, and maintaining strong relationships with its clients and community.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of General Practice responsibilities, providing the opportunity to manage a broad and engaging medical and surgical caseload with autonomy over clinical decision-making, diagnostics, treatment planning, and ongoing case management. You'll have access to the hospital's comprehensive diagnostic and clinical capabilities while working alongside experienced colleagues in an environment where open case discussion and shared clinical input are encouraged. The practice provides exposure to a varied caseload and supports veterinarians in continuing to develop their individual clinical interests. Collaboration, communication, and high-quality personalized medicine are central to the role, with the hospital placing an emphasis on providing a sustainable working environment alongside continued professional development. Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care. The practice is equipped with Digital Radiography, Dental Radiography, Ultrasound, and an In-House Laboratory, alongside dedicated surgical and dental suites and modern anesthetic monitoring equipment. These resources support the hospital's broad medical, diagnostic, dental, and surgical caseload. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Team
You'll be joining a long-established veterinary team within a hospital where collaboration forms a central part of the clinical culture. Open case discussions are encouraged, allowing veterinarians to share clinical input and draw on the knowledge and experience of their colleagues when managing cases. The veterinary team is supported by experienced clinical and client service professionals, with clearly defined roles designed to promote effective teamwork and strong clinical workflows. The hospital includes long-tenured team members and places an emphasis on shared knowledge, continued learning, and maintaining a supportive environment where veterinarians can continue developing professionally.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
