Forklift Operator
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Night Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced forklift operators to support daily operations at a high-volume e-commerce cosmetics distribution center. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing, replenishing, picking, and staging merchandise throughout the warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and be comfortable operating multiple types of material handling equipment, including Reach Forklift, Counterbalance Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, and Dock Stocker.
Responsibilities
Safely operate Reach Forklift, Counterbalance Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, and Dock Stocker to move products and materials throughout the distribution center.
Load, unload, move, and stage merchandise according to warehouse procedures.
Receive and put away incoming products in designated storage locations.
Replenish inventory and move merchandise from reserve storage to active picking locations.
Pick and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Transport pallets and cartons throughout the warehouse using powered material-handling equipment.
Assist with loading and unloading trailers as needed.
Verify product, quantities, labels, and locations to help maintain inventory accuracy.
Follow RF scanner or warehouse management system instructions when required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling guidelines.
Perform routine warehouse tasks including pallet wrapping, labeling, staging, sorting, and housekeeping.
Work effectively in a fast-paced, productivity-driven e-commerce environment.
Meet established productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience operating all or multiple types of the following equipment:
Reach Forklift
Counterbalance Forklift
Electric Pallet Jack
Dock Stocker
Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment in a busy warehouse environment.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic ability to identify product numbers, labels, locations, and quantities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and climb as required.
Ability to lift and move cartons and merchandise throughout the warehouse.
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other powered equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
Work Environment
High-volume e-commerce cosmetics distribution center.
Fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent movement of merchandise and powered industrial equipment.
Employee must follow all warehouse safety, PPE, and equipment operating procedures.
Position may require working around pallets, racks, trailers, conveyors, and other warehouse equipment.
